Mary Kate Fahrenbach Venturini is a visual artist and parent based in Wheaton, IL. Her work explores the movement of time through still life paintings in acrylic on canvas and wood panel. She uses natural and human-made objects to explore our connection to the past and the choices we make about how to “spend” our time now.
Mary Kate received a bachelor’s degree in The Program of Liberal Studies and Graphic Design from the University of Notre Dame. She worked at Radio Flyer, Inc. in Visual Communication and Marketing for 11 years, then shifted her focus to parenting and visual art. Mary Kate’s artwork was recently featured in LAMINATOR Vol. 1, a zine published by Artists on the Lam. She volunteers with The DuPage Art League, where she has also received multiple awards for her work.
