Mary Kate Fahrenbach Venturini is a visual artist and parent based in Wheaton, IL. Her work explores the movement of time through still life paintings in acrylic on canvas and wood panel. She uses natural and human-made objects to explore our connection to the past and the choices we make about how to “spend” our time now.
Mary Kate received a bachelor’s degree in The Program of Liberal Studies and Graphic Design from the University of Notre Dame. She worked in Visual Communication and Marketing for 11 years at Radio Flyer, Inc. before shifting her focus to visual art and parenting. Mary Kate’s artwork has recently appeared in LAMINATOR Vol. 1, a zine published by Artists on the Lam, and at “You Are Invited,” a group show at DANK Haus in Chicago.
